boozie has partnered with its Idaho distributor, Hayden Beverage, to create the boozie Cocktails for COVID-19 Idaho Relief Fund in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Starting June 1, 2020, $2 for each can of boozie sold at participating Idaho retailers up to $60k will be donated to COVID-19 relief efforts in boozie’s home state of Idaho.
Two beneficiaries will receive donations from the boozie Cocktails for COVID-19 Idaho Relief Fund: Boise State University Nurses and the Blaine County Charitable Fund.
boozie, in collaboration with the Boise State College of Health Sciences School of Nursing, has established a student loan debt assistance fund for Boise State Nurses. Donated funds will support local registered nurses who are facing the frontlines of the pandemic and student loan debt upon their graduation from Boise State’s RN to BS program.
The boozie team including boozie co-founders and Boise State alumni, Luke and Kasey, have personal connections to nurses as Luke’s sister is a working nurse during this time.
This is a unique opportunity to thank nurses who have been tirelessly working in the fight against COVID-19 while also continuing their education in order to provide higher quality care, and boozie is honored to gift these selfless and dedicated Bronco nurses. Gift recipients will receive a financial contribution toward their student loan debt.
boozie is also proud to be raising funds for the Blaine County Charitable Fund, which provides grant money to Blaine County residents who are experiencing financial hardship due to the unanticipated crisis. Luke and Kasey reside in Blaine County where they have witnessed firsthand the impact of the pandemic in their community.
Atkinsons’ Market will contribute an additional dollar, bringing the donation total to three dollars, for each can of boozie sold at their stores to the boozie Cocktails for COVID-19 Idaho Relief Fund. Atkinsons’ contribution will benefit the Blaine County Charitable Fund directly.
boozie can be purchased from several retailers in Idaho including Albertsons, Atkinsons’ Market, both Boise Co-Op locations, Costco, Fred Meyer, Idaho State Liquor Stores and Whole Foods Market.
